Engineering Excellence for Long-Range Capability

The Arksen 85 is an aluminium vessel, requiring a fine balance between strength and weight to achieve its long-range performance. Chartwell Marine’s expertise in lightweight structural design ensured that all critical components—such as stabilizer fins, multiple crane bases, davits, and deck fittings—were seamlessly integrated without compromising the yacht’s weight, stability, or performance. Our approach enabled the vessel to maintain its long-range capability, a crucial factor for an explorer yacht designed for extended journeys to remote regions.

Sustainability at the Core

In line with Chartwell Marine’s commitment to sustainable vessel design, the structural engineering of the Arksen 85 was executed with a focus on efficiency and minimal environmental impact. The lightweight design not only enhanced the vessel’s long-range capabilities but also contributed to fuel efficiency, making it a more sustainable choice for long-term exploration.
