The Chartwell Marine Patrol / Pilot vessel is a highly configurable high-speed monohull designed between 12-16m. It has a unique hull form to minimise drag and resistance, and to maximise vessel performance.
It has a hybrid system architecture which allows it to be driven by either diesel or diesel-electric input power, and it specifically targets the challenge of improving air quality at major ports in the UK and overseas.
Chartwell Marine has undertaken extensive research into low speed resistance, and continuous refinement on the basis of operation hours served at sea, to optimise the vessel’s design.
